Derek had the day off yesterday so what did we do? Laundry? Cleaning? Of course not! We went to the Humane Society, then the pound, and finally to Green Valley. In Green Valley we fell in love with a 4 month old Shar pei Lab mix and she is now part of the Allsup family. We named her Nala.
So far she has done very well. She slept all night in her kennel and has been very gentle with Haley. She has learned the doggy door and is already bringing me presents from outside...tree bark, leaves, etc. In a couple days (or this afternoon) I may be thinking "What did I do?", but I know her and Haley will be best buds.
